BIBS Silicone Dummies
Silicone is an industrially manufactured hypoallergenic, odorless, and taste-neutral material celebrated for its purity. It’s 100% free from harmful and endocrine-disrupting substances like BPA, PVC, and phthalates.
The smooth transparent nipple may not be as soft as natural rubber latex, but it holds its shape, resists aging, and handles high heat with ease.
This makes BIBS silicone dummies a clean, reliable choice for daily comfort. Designed in Denmark, they combine trusted quality with a modern aesthetic and support your baby’s natural sucking reflex.
Why choose silicone dummies for your baby
Silicone is stable, allergy-friendly, and easy to maintain. Unlike latex, silicone doesn’t absorb taste or smell, making it ideal for babies with sensitive preferences. Plus, its durability means you can clean it frequently without altering the nipple’s shape or feel.
At BIBS, we use medical-grade silicone to ensure safety and performance. The structured dummy nipple remains consistent in form, offering your baby a familiar, soothing experience during every feed or cuddle session.
These dummies are also highly heat-resistant, perfect for boiling or steam sterilization, making daily hygiene stress-free.
A closer look at our silicone dummies
Our silicone dummies are available in thoughtful designs like Supreme and Couture. Each offers different nipple shapes, symmetrical, anatomical, or flat-drop, to suit your baby’s comfort needs.
All shields are lightweight with air holes for ventilation, helping reduce moisture build-up and skin irritation. Their ergonomic build offers a secure but gentle fit that parents trust.
Available in stunning, Scandinavian-inspired color palettes, you can pick your favorite in single dummies or handy 2-packs, ideal for home or travel.
Caring for your silicone dummies
To keep your dummy in top condition, follow these easy steps:
- Sterilize before first use by placing the dummy in a bowl and pouring boiling water over it. Let it sit for five minutes, then cool completely before use
- Wash regularly using warm water and mild soap
- Avoid UV sterilizers and harsh cleaning agents
- Inspect before each use and replace at the first sign of wear
Though silicone is incredibly durable, we recommend replacing dummies every 6 to 8 weeks, depending on usage and wear.
